We have a variety of different workshops which aim to develop both knowledge and practical skills. These are delivered at Clophill Eco Lodges by us or our partners.
The tour around the site explores how it was built, the materials used, our use of natural resources, the wildlife and plants found in the area, and our dedication to recycling along with a code to crack along the way!
This workshop involves foraging the local area for edible plants, fungi and other wild foods.
Learn about British plants and their uses. Taste, cook and create seasonal recipes for a variety of uses.
Foraging Skills Workshop
Learn how to start a fire using flints, finding items to burn and setting up a fire, and learning how to build a shelter and survive in the wild!
Fire Lighting and Bushcraft Workshop
This half day workshop will take you through various activities. Mindful walking, Yoga, Meditation and Body Scanning. A perfect way to relax, unwind and reconnect with yourself and the world. These activities are medically proven to help with stress and anxiety, allowing you to be more patient, creative and self aware.
Wellbeing Workshop
This workshop explores outdoor cooking methods including cooking on an open fire (weather dependant) food preparation and exploring its nutritional benefits.
Outdoor Cookery Workshop
This workshop explores our local rich history, from the Romans to the Normans. We can include either a mini dig or a tower tour to enrich your learning and bring it to life in our beautiful county of Bedfordshire.

This workshop starts by exploring our local footpaths to source fresh herbs. Back at the Eco- Lodges, you are encouraged to taste the teas before mixing up your own blend with the help of our local herbalist Emily to take home.
Herbal Tea Making Workshop
Emily will teach you how to use herbs to stay healthy through the seasons. Exploring their uses and benefits.
This informative workshop covers which herbs are most effective for boosting the immune system and supporting you day-to-day, the preparation, use and best practices for incorporating herbs into your daily routine.
Herbal Remedy Workshop
Create your own, bespoke, organic balms from natural ingredients. This is a basic introduction to balm making, allowing you to select a blend of scents and properties perfectly suited to you.
During the workshop you will create a lip balm, hand balm and herbal foot soak to take home.
Please note the balms are made using locally sourced and sustained beeswax or soy.
